1. Introduction
People Intouch B.V. ("SpeakUp", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to transparency about how we collect and use data on www.speakup.com (the "Website"). This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar tracking technologies we use, why we use them, and what choices you have.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy, which provides further detail on how we process personal data. SpeakUp is registered in the Netherlands and is subject to Dutch and EU data protection law.
2. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow sites to recognize your device on future visits and remember information about your preferences or behavior. Similar technologies include HTML Local Storage, IndexedDB, and pixel trackers — these are referenced collectively as "cookies" throughout this policy.
Cookies can be distinguished by:
- Origin — first-party (placed by SpeakUp directly) vs. third-party (placed by external providers whose functionality is embedded on the Website).
- Duration — session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) vs. persistent cookies (retained for a set period).
3. Legal basis for using cookies
Under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR (as implemented in the Dutch Telecommunications Act), we rely on the following legal bases:
- Strictly necessary cookies: Essential to the operation of the Website. No consent is required.
- Preference cookies: Placed with your prior consent to remember your settings and choices.
- Statistical/analytics cookies: Placed with your prior consent to help us understand how visitors use the Website.
- Marketing cookies: Placed with your prior consent to deliver relevant advertising and measure campaign effectiveness.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by adjusting your preferences via our cookie consent banner or browser settings. See Section 8 for details.
4. Cookies we use
Based on a full scan of the Website conducted in March 2026, the following cookies and tracking technologies are in use. They are grouped by consent category.
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies (Category 1)
These cookies are essential for the Website to function. They cannot be disabled. They include security, load-balancing, and consent management cookies.
4.2 Preference cookies (Category 2)
These cookies remember your settings and choices to improve your experience, such as UI preferences on embedded tools.
4.3 Statistical / analytics cookies (Category 3)
We use these cookies to understand how visitors interact with the Website and to improve its performance. They collect data in aggregate or pseudonymous form. All analytics providers are subject to Data Processing Agreements.
Google Analytics (GA4)
Google Analytics collects pseudonymized usage data. IP anonymization is enabled — full IP addresses are not stored — but a unique client identifier is assigned per visitor, meaning data remains personal data under GDPR.
HubSpot Analytics
HubSpot analytics tracks visitor behavior on the Website and is used to measure content performance and contact engagement.
Microsoft Clarity
Microsoft Clarity records session heatmaps and replays to help us understand how visitors navigate pages. Data is pseudonymized.
Hotjar
Hotjar collects heatmaps and session recordings to analyze usability and user experience on the Website.
4.4 Marketing & advertising cookies (Category 4)
We use marketing cookies to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns, retarget visitors, and gain audience insights. All marketing cookies are placed only with your consent.
Google Ads & DoubleClick
LinkedIn Insight Tag
The LinkedIn Insight Tag enables ad conversion tracking, visitor retargeting, and demographic insights about visitors who interact with our LinkedIn ads. Data is pseudonymized within 7 days and deleted within 180 days by LinkedIn.
Microsoft / Bing Ads (UET)
Microsoft's Universal Event Tracking (UET) tag measures conversions from Bing Ads and tracks visitor behavior across Microsoft ad networks.
Facebook / Meta Pixel
The Meta Pixel enables us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook and Instagram ad campaigns and deliver targeted advertising to relevant audiences.
Reddit Pixel
Navattic
Navattic powers the interactive product demos embedded on our Website, allowing visitors to explore the SpeakUp platform without signing up. It places cookies to remember display preferences and track demo engagement.
Clay
Clay is a sales intelligence platform. We use Clay's website visitor tracking script to identify which companies are visiting speakup.com based on IP address and device signals. This data feeds into our outbound prospecting workflows to help our sales team prioritize and personalize outreach.
6Sense (Account-Based Marketing)
6Sense is an account-based marketing (ABM) platform. It registers IP addresses and firmographic data to identify company-level visitors for B2B advertising targeting.
Leadfeeder / Lirasal
Leadfeeder identifies companies visiting the Website based on IP address for B2B lead generation purposes.
YouTube (embedded videos)
When you watch YouTube videos embedded on our Website, YouTube may place cookies on your device. Where possible, we use YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
5. Third-party data processors
