Alfredo Avila is a compliance and legal leader with over 18 years of experience guiding multinational organizations in regulated industries, currently serving as Compliance Officer at Millicom (Tigo). He has held senior roles at global companies including PepsiCo, Baxter, and Gap Inc., bringing deep expertise in corporate compliance, data privacy, AML, and risk management, and is known for embedding compliance into business strategy while supporting organizational growth.
Yeny Fanning is a compliance leader with over 18 years of experience serving as LATAM Compliance Officer for Apotex, with a focus on pharmaceutical and DEA regulatory compliance across Latin American markets. She brings extensive experience in guiding regional compliance strategies and operational excellence in highly regulated sectors, with a proven track record of strengthening governance and regulatory adherence across pharmaceutical, drilling, manufacturing, construction and shared services.
Jose Medinanazer is a compliance and AML leader with over 17 years of experience, currently serving as Head of Compliance and Ethics at Liberty Caribbean, with deep expertise in BSA/AML, sanctions, and multi-jurisdictional regulatory frameworks. He brings a proven track record of building enterprise-wide, risk-based compliance programs in complex, high-risk financial environments, leveraging data and analytics to strengthen governance, regulatory resilience, and ethical culture.
Our conversation will be hosted by Marinela Gomez, a seasoned compliance, ethics, and enterprise sales leader, currently serving as VP, Growth and Commercial Strategy for North America at SpeakUp, where she shapes the region’s strategic direction.
