Leading with integrity
A roundtable on high-stakes investigations
Thursday, October 22, 2026 | 10:00–13:00
Moderated roundtable, including lunch
Location: House 21, Kristian Augusts gate 21, 0164 Oslo

Some investigations carry more risk than others. Fraud, sexual harassment, and retaliation are complex to run, legally exposed, and hard to get right. This roundtable is a space to work through them honestly, under the Chatham House Rule.
Who this is for
Senior legal and compliance leaders in the Nordic region, responsible for:
- Managing high-stakes misconduct cases
- Internal investigations across fraud, harassment, and retaliation
- Cross-border case handling and escalation decisions
- Protecting the integrity of investigations under pressure
What to expect
The session opens with a brief introduction by Ezekiel Ward, founder of North Star Compliance and former CCO at Volvo Group and Yara International. Attendees then break into small working groups to share best practices and approaches to three high-stakes case types:
- Sexual harassment allegations
- Whistleblower retaliation
- Complex fraud
Each group is a space to bring your own experience and hear how peers are solving similar problems. The groups close in a plenary session to discuss key takeaways, followed by a networking lunch.
Why attend
- Hear how compliance leaders at similar organizations handle the cases that don't have a clean answer
- Test your current approach and find out where it holds up under scrutiny
- Walk away with practical perspectives you can apply immediately
